We proudly announce the 2014 “One Future” The World Orchestra Festival is around the corner! 

 

With the support of Dr. Heinz Fischer, the Federal President of the Republic of Austria, 2014 “One Future -- The World Orchestra Festival” will be held in Vienna from July 24th to July 27th 2014. As an orchestra festival held in Austria, it’s an honor to receive the incredible support from the Organization for Promoting World Music and Arts Education, Vienna municipal government, University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Vienna Boys’ Choir, Haydn Foundation and Liszt Cultural Center. Prof. Mark Stringer, the world renowned conducting educator and deputy director of the conducting department of University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, will lead the committee of the festival. 

 

The festival aims to provide a top-class platform in the world for the young musicians to perform. They will present and develop their talents in some important concert halls, such as the Haydn Hall in the Esterházy Palace in the hometown of Josef Haydn, the Liszt Cultural Center Music Hall, the birth house of Franz Liszt, the Concert hall of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, and even the famous Golden Hall of Musikverein.
